Your voice is a whole-body instrument: the breath is the power, the vocal folds make the buzz, and the throat and mouth shape it into sound. Pick a register and a note, then watch every part move together.
Slow motion
TA (thyroarytenoid) is the muscle inside the folds. It shortens and thickens them: chest voice, lower notes. CT (cricothyroid) sits on the front of the voice box. It tilts the cartilage to stretch the folds longer and thinner: higher notes, head voice. Mix = both working together.
The pocket & false folds
Colored bars show where each register usually lives. Every voice is different.
Each register sets these automatically. Drag any one yourself to see and hear what that body part changes.

Voice care: belting should feel strong, never painful. If your throat feels scratchy, tight or sore, stop, sip water, and go back to a lighter mix. Build long holds a few seconds at a time.
